Chalet Descansa lies central between 3 major ski-area's. Ski-Arena Wildkogel is next door.

For families, Ski-Arena Wildkogel is ideal. The area where the children get their first courses is next to the Bergstation and the parents can ski in the surroundings.

When downhill track to Neukirchen is open, you can ski to the Venedigersiedlung. You are then almost to your door.
You can also Rodeln to Bramberg.

With the Skibus you are fast in the Krimmelplatte.

In 15 minuten by car you are at the Panoramabahn in Hollersbach. From here you enter the Kitzbühler Alpen.

In spring untill sommer you can go to the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. This is only 30 minutes by car.  

The Wildkogel-Arena is already known as the "most family friendly" ski-area.

With the longest lilluminated downhill Rodelbahn of the worls the Area has a second attraction.
